This long-standing ice arena was the first in the state of New Mexico and it has recently been remodeled. The arena is open year-round for you to enjoy some time on the ice or in the arcade, grab a bite from the snack bar and do some shopping in the pro shop. Just 17 minutes from Albuquerque via the Sandia Peak Tramway, this popular full-service alpine ski area boasts 30 trails. Ski season begins on Thanksgiving weekend and usually ends the first of April. The ski area is ideal for the mid-level skier.
