Albuquerque Art Business Association Albuquerque Arts Business Association PO Box 36588 Albuquerque, NM 87176 United States +1 505 244 0362 http://www.artscrawlabq.org/ |
Over ten years ago a group of merchants got together and organized this monthly event, which has turned out to be a great hit in the community. On the last Friday of every month, a chosen number of galleries around town stay open extra late and host receptions, performances and demonstrations. The galleries are located in places like Old Town, Downtown, and Nob Hill. In your gallery hopping, you may get a chance to meet internationally renowned artists, local and national celebrities, and taste some fine snacks. Review © 2007, Wcities |

This is the world's largest Native American powwow, and it is well worth stopping in to see exactly what a powwow is all about. Native American tribes from all over North America send representatives to dance, sing and show off their costumes and artistic talent. Competitions are held in a number of categories and Miss Indian World is chosen. The haunting sights and sounds, and the spritual power of the event will remain with you long after its over. Tickets are available at the door, and through local ticket outlets. Review © 2007, Wcities |
