Aboriginal Arts & Instruments features the handiwork of Aboriginal artists from the desert and rain forest areas in Australia. The shop offers a wide assortment of didgeridoos, some originally from Kuranda, a little artist village near Cairns on the Northern East Coast of Australia. Each didgeridoo has its own tone and sound —size and shape are key elements — and each one is a hand-painted work of art. The shop offers instructional books, videos and CDs for those who are just learning to play the instrument. Demonstrations, workshops and private lessons are also available. The shop has an extra space, used for exhibitions, cultural events such as readings, film evenings, concerts and jamming sessions.
