Less than five minutes' walk from the Anne Frankhuis, Café Nielsen is an ideal spot for breakfast or lunch. Café Nielsen is located on Berenstraat, leading from the Keizersgracht to the Herengracht. Lasse and Wenche Nielsen serve rich salads, American-style club sandwiches, soups, filled rolls and vegetarian dishes. Their homemade apple tart is a specialty.
