DFDS Seaways offers ferry services seven times a week (during peak season) from Newcastle, England to Ijmuiden, The Netherlands, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from Amsterdam. The total time for the trip is about 14hrs. The range of accommodation on board each of the DFDS Seaways ships varies from 4-berth shared cabins, standard cabins, commodore cabins and commodore deluxe cabins to special cabins for disabled passengers and business travelers. They occasionally operate specials in which you pay no additional fees for transporting your vehicle.
