Tibetan and Nepalese dishes |
Korte Leidsedwarsstraat 58 Amsterdam 1017 RD +31 (0)20 623 9495 |
The Nepalese-Tibetan restaurant Sherpa is one of a kind in the Netherlands. You'll find it in the heart of Amsterdam, just a stone's throw from Leidseplein. The preparation of traditional cuisine is an exclusive art in Tibet and Nepal, which is now being practised in Amsterdam. Dishes from Nepal are prepared with delicate spices, while the Tibetan dishes are made from ravioli and noodles. The homemade ravioli can be divided into two sorts: Momos (steamed) and Kothay (baked). You'll also find a variety of vegetarian options in Sherpa. Review © 2009, Wcities |
