Outstanding atmosphere and burgers make it successful. Each wall is covered in Alaskan history through photos and stories of the many friends of this restaurant. Locals and tourists alike, tip their heads back and read from these walls. Offering basic burgers with different spins including the halibut or the salmon patty, it is best known for the big juicy hamburgers and tasty fries that come in large portions served piping hot. Shakes, sodas and coffee are available but not alcohol.

+1 907 272 3454 Opened in 1960, locals love this place for the chicken and fabulous burgers. Burgers are 1/4 pound, Cheeseburgers, Swiss and Bacon Burger and BLT's are all part of its menu. But it is the chicken that people really want; and its here! No one has ever walked out of here unimpressed with its chicken. End your meal with some Strawberry Shortcake or a Hot Fudge Shake. No alcoholic beverages are served.

In addition to baby back barbecued ribs, blackened and fried seafood and enormous steaks and chops, you get your choice of corn fritters, steak fries, baked beans, corn on the cob, baked potatoes and a dessert bar. Beer is served up in massive ice chilled urns and the waitresses just fly to keep you up to your elbows in hot food. Several microbrews and domestic beers are on tap. A free shuttle is available to any Anchorage hotel for dinner pick up and drop.
