A cozy cafe from the 19th century

This café dates back to the mid 19th century when it was visited by the famous Flemish writer Henrik Conscience. Nowadays, it's an ideal spot for a cozy chat or quiet escape. The cane chairs and tropical plants create a warm atmosphere. The Grote Pieter Potstraat is a pedestrian precinct and, weather permitting, you can enjoy your drink on the pleasant terrace while watching the foot traffic. They have a wide selection of beers and gins, but if you prefer alcohol-free, indulge in a cup of fresh espresso.
