Well, it origins from the former Hippodroom building, which used to be an entertainment center. Interesting works of art accentuate the walls and the decorative lighting plays with it. The romantic getup is set in by soft candlelight on each table. The bar area, an attractive feature by itself, is complemented by the good list of liquors and Belgian beers. The menu lists contemporary cuisine with French flavors. Try the popular dish Scallop Carpaccio with Algae Tartare or the Baked Cod with Gnocci and Fowl Gravy. And do save room for a generous portion of a delicious dessert.

+32 3 233 1274 The Koperen Ketel (Copper Kettle) restaurant is situated near the Boerentoren skyscraper in a historical building that was once a coach house. The proprietor has tried to maintain the original mood of the place and the main focal point is the sculptured wooden mantelpiece from the 15th century. The menu offers fine Belgian cuisine and Brabançonne pheasant is just one of the many specialities from the gourmet and game menus. This place is more up—market, but it is a fine example of Belgian cooking. Romantic and suitable for business dinners.
