This is an authentic rib shack such as you used to find in every little town from Richmond to New Orleans. You can eat barbecue in a nice fancy kitchen, but it's not quite the same. Ashby's puts out barbecue the way it should be. Hot and always cooking. And in a shack. As any veteran of the pork game will tell you, great sauce makes all the difference.
