The perfect spot for local jazz is among the suburban offices of Sandy Springs and Roswell Road. Cafe 290 offers live jazz all week as well as good food. Steak and seafood selections are prepared well and complemented by a nice wine list, but most folks come for the music. The dining area is decked out to resemble a jazz club of old, and surrounds the small performance stage. Be sure to book reservations if you want to eat during the show. Full bar service is provided.
