FallFest

Art in Candler Park
McLendon Avenue (Between Little Five Points and Clifton Road)
Candler Park
Atlanta, GA 30307
United States

From its very name, it is obvious that this festival occurs during the crisp fall season. Artists from in and around the city present their works. The creations are diverse and individually unique—jewelry, paintings, sculptures, photographs, posters, pottery and other such creative pieces are displayed. Musicians perform too, and food vendors, clothing stalls and city businesses set up their own niches. Puppeteers and magicians are on-site to keep the kiddies amused.

999 Peachtree Street
Atlanta, GA 30301
United States
+1 404 347 9325
This New Year's Eve extravaganza has been going strong since 1993. Each year the celebration of music, art, dance, drama and entertainment gets bigger and better, with live performances and huge crowds. A kickoff concert starts mid-afternoon in Midtown, and as dusk arrives, Peachtree Street becomes a stage for an amazing street festival. There is even a contest for individuals and groups with the most creative use of light, capped off by a fireworks show at midnight.

Journey back to medieval times

Atlanta, GA 30213
United States

An Atlanta tradition, the Renaissance Festival celebrates the bygone days of Shakespeare, chivalry, and tournament jousting. Kids and adults alike will thrill to fine demonstrations of old-time crafts and acts of skill, including jugglers, fencing demonstrations, and even giant roasted turkey legs to gnaw on. Just a twenty-minute ride south on I-85, the Renaissance Festival promotes good old-fashioned, mud-soaked fun. The festival operates every year, weekends only, from late April through mid-June.
