As upscale as Chinese needs to be, this long-standing favorite is a nice choice for something more than just carry-out. Formosa prides itself on a spectacular buffet. The dining area is dominated by the presence of this parade of food, surrounded by comfortable tables and a representative showing of standard Chinese eatery art. You can't go wrong with the buffet, but for lighter appetites, the Kung Pao shrimp is reliable, as is the Mandarin pork. For vegetarians, the Hunan veggie plate will not set you back a lot.
