Elvis Presley was far from alone in his lust for Krispy Kreme. Since 1937, this donut-maker has peddled its deep-fried delights all over the Southeast. The white walls and old-time counter-style interior are frequent landmarks throughout Atlanta, but this Midtown location is one of the oldest. The traditional Krispy Kreme is a deep-fried puffy affair, simple white batter glazed heavily with sugar.
