An in-town Atlanta favorite, the family-run Las Palmeras serves up some of the best local authentic Cuban. Tucked into an inconspicuous storefront on Fifth Street, the restaurant's less-than-glamorous decor does not detract from the exotic plates presented daily. Cuban favorites line the menu, such as fried plantains, Cuban sandwiches and great black beans, as well as the locally-popular Cuban milkshake. Bring your own alcohol if you want it because Las Palmeras does not have a liquor license. There is a liquor store conveniently located next door, though. Review © 2009, Wcities |
