This family-run Mexican restaurant offers good food at inexpensive prices just a few minutes from downtown. Occasional live music, from traditional brass bands to a popular one-man folk singer, picks up the pace of this typically mellow place. Long tables fill up the open dining room, while piñatas and other festive decor line the wall. Mexico City has great fajitas, as well as tacos and the usual Mexican fare. The presentation isn't spectacular, but the service is friendly and the margarita pitchers are tall, cold and cheap. Review © 2009, Wcities |
