A Little Bit of Europe
Franz-Jacob-Strasse 2
Atlanta, GA 10369

+1 404 523 9121
http://www.babettescafe.com/
This romantic spot is fashioned in the likeness of a rustic country cottage, and blends right in with the quiet neighborhood it inhabits. The menu includes eclectic European entrees. A predominantly French wine list is highlighted by some rare and unusually expensive offerings, and formal attire is recommended.

Ecco

Innovative fare
40 7th Street
Atlanta, GA 30308
United States
+1 404 347 9555
http://www.ecco-atlanta.com/
This European-inspired eatery is smart and crisp, with dark wood and leather furnishings, and snowy white linens. Quiet and elegant, Ecco is known for the delicious cornucopia of seasonal fare on its menu. Innovative shared plates, paninis, pastas, pizzas, a variety of main courses and sinful desserts present a tantalizing mix of Italian, French and Spanish flavors. If you aren't that hungry, just try something from the wide cheese selection. A mix of wines is available at the bar, so pick a glass and seat yourself on the pretty open-air patio.

Fandangles

Tops for tapas
165 Courtland St
(Sheraton Hotel)
Atlanta, GA 30303
United States
+1 404 659 6500
The exotic taste of tapas comes to downtown in the comfortable confines of the Sheraton Atlanta. Come sample the best of what chef Hans Sebelin has to offer. The speckled granite floor will catch your eye as you enter, but you'll be more wowed by the views of the pool plaza below the dining room. Food is ordered in small, appetizer-sized portions in the tapas tradition. Chef Sebelin infuses a decidedly Asian influence into his European dishes, including the Saffron Lobster Raviolis in Tropical Salad with Vanilla Cream Sauce.

Kurt's

Suburban German dining
4225 River Green Parkway
Atlanta, GA 30096-2563
United States
+1 770 623 4128
This friendly restaurant is located in a rustic farmhouse with rooms designated for smokers and non-smokers, providing a comfortable environment for everyone. There is also a biergarten run by Kurt's wife Vreny, whose outdoor patio is perfect for springtime imbibing. The menu features continental food with a touch of German flavor. A prix fixe dinner is available, or choose a la carte from selections such as Hungarian Goulash soup and grilled steak and seafood selections. Vreny's biergarten serves a more toned-down selection of German favorites in a more casual environment.

Petite Auberge

Best of European Fusion
2935 North Druid Hills Road
Atlanta, GA 30329
United States
+1 404 634 6268
http://www.petiteauberge.com/
The animated Monsieur Gropp, owner and proprietor of this chic neighborhood cafe, is responsible for the whimsical prevailing atmosphere, and has attracted a large local following over the years. For more than a quarter century, his marriage of German and French cuisine has delighted and surprised regular patrons, while his antics hold diners in stitches. Long before the fusion craze hit, the cultural whirlwind from this popular kitchen was creating continental medleys such as schnitzel in wine sauce. A nice wine list and full bar service are available.

Vreny's Biergarten

Duplex of German Charm
Tempelhofer Ufer 10
Atlanta, GA 10963
United States
+1 770 623 9413
http://vrenysbiergarten.com/
This entertaining facility offers two dining venues, the formal, upstairs Vreny's, and the more casual Biergarten downstairs. Both spots offer the best of German food and German beer, and are decorated in traditional Bavarian motifs. The Biergarten features light fare and puts the focus on the steins, while the menu at Vreny's sticks to the old country essentials, such as wiener schnitzel and other traditional dishes. Menu items are listed in both German and English, and come with beer recommendations.
