Squeezed into a strip mall, the dining room is small but accommodating, although many diners choose their specialties to go. The servers are enthusiastic and never shy about recommending dishes or helping to translate the menu. The menu features a host of Malaysian and Chinese favorites, with great spicy noodle dishes alongside meat and seafood options.

A beautiful wooden sushi bar dominates the center of the restaurant. Browns and blacks are the central colors, giving the dining room a very Japanese feel. In fair weather, opt for a seat on the cordoned-off sidewalk section. The sushi is fantastic, while other dishes such as tempura and even some Korean and Malaysian favorites are good as well. Japanese beers and sake are also available.

The intimate dining room never gets very loud, and it provides a perfect date atmosphere. Many dishes are strictly vegetarian, but the menu offers a wide array of chicken and beef dishes, too. Try any of the noodle soups, the fried squid, the Malaysian Buddhist Delight or the Sarang Burong. Many dishes are extremely spicy, but fortunately, these are indicated as such on the menu. Beer and wine is available.
