Lobster Burrito, Tuna Tostada, Ambra Bouillabaisse, and Crab Cakes are highly recommended. And, since you've already broken your diet, might as well go for the divine warm Belgian Chocolate Cake, which is served with vanilla ice-cream.

Atlanta, GA 30030-2435

They say when visiting a town, go where the locals go. This charming corner cafe in the middle of downtown Decatur is just that place. Simple and sweet, the concrete floors of the dining room are offset by bright purple walls, and seating is pretty limited. Best known for its monster sandwiches, piled high with fresh vegetables and select meats, Cafe Lily also provides a nice array of ethnic dishes. Sample the Moroccan jerk steak, the Portuguese ribeye, or any of a number of light seafood selections.

Cassis

Mediterranean Dining in the Hyatt
3300 Peachtree Road
Atlanta, GA 30305
United States
+1 404 237 1234
Cassis was left unchanged when Hyatt took over Buckhead's Hotel Nikko. Hyatt knew better than to mess with success. Cassis offers great French and Mediterranean food and is convenient enough for a business lunch as well as a romantic dinner. The dining room overlooks a beautiful Japanese garden and waterfall, and is elegantly decorated in a Western style. The French influence is strong in the kitchen, particularly in the beef offerings, while the Mediterranean tastes dominate the seafood. An exemplary wine list covers most of the world's great regions.

This upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the Maple Drive area offers a fine dining experience that has few equals in the city. Located within a lavishly renovated house, the dining rooms are slightly small, but quirky and charming in their individuality. A patio is available for cocktails. The food changes seasonally, but the soups are always a hit. Chef and owner Lynne Gigliotti's various lamb dishes are very well regarded, and the seafood, when available, is spectacular. The wine list also varies from time to time, and is very good.

Mediterranean treat
408 South Atlanta Street
Clocktower Place
Atlanta, GA 30075

According to Atlanta magazine, "You don't know what over the top means until you have eaten in this delightfully off center Mediterranean restaurant." The dreamy décor and the generous servings of food ensure a continuous inflow of guests. The menu is essentially Mediterranean with Greek, Italian and Spanish influences. The Dining Room

Buckhead's Ritziest Address
3434 Peachtree Road
(Ritz-Carlton Buckhead)
Atlanta, GA 30326
United States
+1 404 237 2700
http://www.ritzcarlton.com/hot...
The most prestigious address for Buckhead lodging is also among the best for elegant dining. Come early and enjoy a drink in the bar, where plush sofa-seats and brass appointments whisper the opulence of bygone days. Chef Joel Antunes has created a menu worthy of the Ritz name, blending progressive French Mediterranean with Thai influences. Try the Crab Cannelloni with Shrimp and Tomato-Olive Oil Broth over Squid-Dyed Black Pasta. For dessert, opt for the chocolate tart with milk sorbet. Formality is of the essence here, so dress to the nines. See website for menu, chef biographies, and online reservations.
