Thai one on! |
3195 Roswell Road Atlanta, GA 30305 United States +1 404 264 9546 |
Serving some of the city's best Thai, Annie's is a nice step up from normal Oriental takeout. The dining room is decorated with objects from Southeast Asia, including art and other memorabilia. There is a splendid patio dining area if you feel the need to escape the busier interior. The duck curry stands out as one of the better dishes served, but everything else on the menu is prepared with style and a spectacular sense of taste. A wide selection of wines is available for dinner as well. Review © 2009, Wcities |

Well-established Thai restaurant |
1492 Piedmont Avenue Atlanta, GA 30309 United States +1 404 874 2514 |
This is among the oldest Thai restaurants in the city for many reasons, and serving high-quality food at an affordable price is certainly among them. Wedged into Ansley Mall, this longtime neighborhood favorite is much more charming on the inside, where small tables and dim light make for intimate meals. Great curried dishes and other Thai favorites are available, including a vast assortment of filling noodle dishes. A heavy lunch crowd shows up daily, so call ahead if you're in a rush. For those in search of a dining experience focused on contemporary fare and top-notch service, Eurasian Bistro is high on the list for Decatur residents. The menu specializes in the pairing of traditional flavors and Asian-inspired sauces. Some of the stand-out favorites include Herb-Crusted Rack of Lamb with Thai Basil Sauce and Pan Seared Salmon in Choo Chee Curry with Asparagus. The dining rooms are open and airy, with seating arrangements that also offer privacy for a more intimate setting. The restaurant also features a full bar and sitting area that is popular for more casual gatherings or for those simply waiting for a table-- and with the rise in popularity that Eurasian Bistro has enjoyed, there may be something of a line if you want to try the newest fusion innovation. Korean dining at its finest |
4251 North Peachtree Road Atlanta, GA 30341 United States +1 770 458 9191 |
Widely considered to be the best of the few Korean restaurants in the city, Hanwoori serves authentic Korean specialties in a beautifully laid out restaurant. The sparsely appointed dining room is immense, with high ceilings and plenty of space. There are also private dining rooms available for hire. Traditional specialties dot the menu, which offers a complete representation of the wide range of Korean cuisine. If you are adventurous, try one of the more spicy entrees. The broiled salmon is a time-tested favorite. Full bar service available. Review © 2009, Wcities |

A Local Favorite |
2184 Cheshire Bridge Road Atlanta, GA 30324 United States +1 404 325 7630 |
Showcasing the cuisine of several regions of China, this neighborhood favorite keeps a pretty low profile despite the wonderful creations of its kitchen. Although the decor is not particularly extravagant and the comfortable ambiance is rather, well, ordinary, Buckhead and Midtown would kill for a joint with this kind of fast, affordable chow mein. The great Chinese specialties are highlighted by the seafood items, a favorite of the chef. Of particular note are the sautéed shrimp dinner and the magical dim sum. Review © 2009, Wcities |
