This terrific upscale cafe concept is a welcome addition to the Atlanta dining scene. Come for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a tasty pick-me-up. Patrons split themselves just about evenly between sit-down and take-out orders, but the dining area is pleasant, if also somewhat simply decorated. The restaurant offers hot entrees like quiches, pot pies, soups and designer pizzas in addition to delicious breads, pastries and desserts. The lunch soup menu is extensive, and the salads, sandwiches and fruit plates are popular.

Voted "Atlanta's Best Breads and Pastries," the Buckhead Bread Company offerings are wonderful. Few can resist the warm, French baguettes made daily, or the extravagant array of dessert delicacies. A nice menu of sandwiches and salads are also available in the very casual dining area, as well as boxed meals for picnics. Catering service is available. No alcohol is served.
