Just northeast of town in Lilburn, this barbecue joint puts its time and effort where its mouth is, and recognizes that the sauce is the key. It wouldn't qualify as a barbecue restaurant if it were too fancy, but the dining room is nicer than many. Few frills, of course, just a cool, comfortable place to wolf down pork. Ribs, pulled beef and pork, and barbecue chicken are all on the menu, and their sauces are renowned. Both their hot and mild have earned "Hotamightydamn!" ratings from Atlanta magazine.
