The happy hour crowd here is well dressed and well heeled, and although the name and decor suggest that this is a tavern, the style here is a little more upscale. A nice menu of salads, sandwiches and appetizers draws a steady flow of shoppers from ritzy Phipps Plaza, while the drinkers generally flock to the patio that overlooks Peachtree Street. Try the Tavern's venerated chips and dip, or bite into a New Orleans po' boy sandwich, another specialty. Full bar service is available, and smoking is permitted on the patio.
