Asian platter! |
621 East Pratt Street Pier 4, Inner Harbor Baltimore, MD 21202 United States +1 410 637 3398 http://www.blubambu.net/ |
This eatery at Pier 4 redefines the age-old codes that people associate with Asian restaurants. Serving a range of delectable dishes from various cuisines including Thai, Japanese, and Chinese it is a delight for diners. A Mongolian stir-fry bar and a sushi bar are its other features, which combined with the bright green and wooden interiors have made the restaurant a success. The over-head lamps add an Asian charm and go well with the rest of the decor. The best part of dining here is the fact that the prices, are as reasonable as ever! Review © 2007, Wcities |

Great Korean barbecue |
18 West 20th Street Baltimore, MD 21218 United States +1 410 837 5231 / +1 410 837 5235 |
The menu at this busy midtown restaurant includes Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisine. Not satisfied with just the traditional offerings, the chef has also created a few of his own, like the Seafood Pancake, a pizza-sized loaf containing squid, shrimp and scallions. But the specialty here is Korean Barbecue, cooked at your table in a huge, brass-covered pot. The decor is sleek and polished, and the ventilation hoods over the tables give the dining room a very modern look. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Sushi lover's paradise |

If you like Asian cuisine, there's bound to be something to delight you at this busy Charles Village restaurant. Here, you'll find a full range of Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes. Highlights include the Korean barbecue and the reasonably priced buffet, which includes many of the menu's best selections. But the real star here is the sushi. The a-la-carte menu is small, but the pieces are big and the presentation is lovely. The cherry-red carpet notwithstanding, the décor is modest and tasteful. Review © 2007, Wcities |

Great Japanese and Korean cuisine |
3215 N Charles Street Baltimore, MD 21218 United States +1 410 366 4115 |
Located in the charming and centrally located Charles Village neighborhood, this relaxed, casual restaurant serves up first-rate, yet moderately priced, Korean and Japanese cuisine. Take a seat at the sushi bar and feast on fresh tuna, salmon and mackerel, or find a quiet booth and enjoy the delicious hot dishes. The Be Bim Bop—a bowl of rice, mixed vegetables and meat, with a fried egg on top—is comfort food at its best. The understated Asian décor and fresh flowers add to the tranquil atmosphere. Terrific, eclectic, casual fare |
1002 Light Street Baltimore, MD 21230 United States +1 410 539 7344 |
Set in a lovely redbrick rowhouse, this south Baltimore favorite is a great place to grab a beer and a bite. The dark wood interior is comfortable and inviting, whether you choose to sit at the long bar or in the dining room. (There're also café tables outside.) The restaurant offers a full, and very eclectic, menu, but appetizers and bar fare are what the kitchen does best. The satay is delicious, the crab cakes are first rate, and the Jambalaya is chock-full of shrimp, fish and other delights. Review © 2007, Wcities |
