Cat's Eye Pub

Baltimore's premier Irish music pub
1730 Thames Street
Fells Point
Baltimore, MD 21231
United States

http://www.catseyepub.com/
According to Celtic music aficionados, this Fells Point pub is the place to go in Baltimore to hear authentic Irish folk music. With its wood-paneled walls and gigantic oak bar, it's the perfect setting for hoisting a glass of Guinness or Harp and enjoying a jig or reel. The steady stream of Irish musicians is supplemented by local and national jazz, blues and zydeco acts. Fell's Point can be nuts on weekends, so to enjoy the full homey effect of this place, visit during the week.

Lively Irish pub

It is an unwritten rule that every Baltimore neighborhood must have at least one Irish pub, and this busy establishment fills Canton's quota in spades. It's not so much the meat-and-potatoes menu, or the pictures of Irish musicians adorning the walls that make this such a great pub. The spirit of the place is what makes it so special. Whether you're in the bar for a Guinness, or in the dining room feasting on Rack of Lamb, you'll be sure to smile.

When you walk in here, you will find yourself transported back to Ireland. Right from the ceiling to the floor, everything at James Joyce Irish Pub & Restaurant reminds you of the Emerald Isle. They have enchanting outdoor seating but if you aren't the outdoor types, dine by the fire or in one of the alcoves in the wall. Celtic and Irish melodies are played and if you are not in the mood for grub, you can also come by to have a drink or two and watch some televised sports as you cheer. Bon appetite!

Maggie Moore's Irish Pub and Restaurant

Irish flavors
21 North Eutaw Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
United States

Housed within a 19th century structure, this restaurant spreads over two floors and also features a non-smoking bar. Most of the previous venue design features have been maintained, like the high ceilings, mahogany counter, and the tall windows; the new furnishings blend in perfectly. Tasty preparations from Ireland are on the menu. Step in for a refreshing drink at the second-floor bar or for a quick meal before a show, or just to chill out over a welcoming Irish meal. Live music is played in the evenings from Wednesday through Saturday.

Mick O'Shea's Irish Pub and Restaurant

Great Irish food and music
328 North Charles Street
Baltimore, MD 21201
United States
+1 410 539 7504
http://www.mickosheas.com/
This lively downtown establishment features live Irish music, five nights a week. One of the many bands that call Mick O'Shea's home is O'Malley's March, lead by the Baltimore Mayor, Martin O'Malley. Inside, you'll find a massive bar with wooden tables to complete the décor. Much of the food is standard bar fare, but heartier dishes are also available. Be sure to try the Celtic entrees - like Shepherd's Pie, Irish Stew and Corn Beef and Cabbage. All are a cut above.

For Ireland with an American twang, make a visit to the Tir Na Nog Bar & Grill. Furnished with pieces shipped from Irish churches and cathedrals and plush textiles, the place has captured all the charms of a typical Irish pub. Executive Chef Matthew Geraghty has taken typical Irish grub and mixed it up with contemporary American cuisine. Grab a pint of chilled beer and feast on fare like the Roasted Trout and Irish Bacon or the Tír na nÓg Shepherd's Pie. Or try the savories from the bar menu. Take a date to eat by the fireplace, chat with the friendly bartenders or come in for a relaxed brunch, whatever suits your mood!
