The Belair Mansion was home to Governor Ogle in the 1700s, and was owned by the Ogle family until 1871. Later it changed hands and was passed onto James Woodward, who added more wings to it. Finally purchased by the City of Bowie, the mansion underwent restoration to regain its original splendor. Presently this pretty edifice is embellished with period furniture and paintings. Plan a fun day out with family or friends and opt for one of Captain Don's Fishing Charters. After you've reached Baltimore's Inner Harbor, it won't be too hard to spot the one you've got to board as it's the only charter to depart from Fell's Point. Come equipped with hats, sunscreen, raingear, comfortable shoes and don't forget your camera! Also carry your daily quota of food and beverages along. Remember, only six people are allowed at a time, so make arrangements keeping that in mind. What's more, there are also private harbor tours on offer.
