The posh interiors of this joint are designed to impress. A lavish dining room, a resplendent bar and a pretty terrace set the precursor of things to come. And the seasonal menu features colossal portions of local delicacies and sinful desserts in a contemporary style. Before the main attack, a quick scan through the bar list will reveal a few sparkling gems that roll easily on the tongue. After a couple of sips, the leek cream on caviar, foie with a side of asparagus, sole with strips of cuttlefish and mushrooms with cheese and prawns should vanish southward fast enough. The pomegranate soup with citrus ice-cream and beetroot scum may sound ominous, but can be quite the source of adventure at the table!
