Created in 1956, Intermón works to eradicate poverty in disadvantaged countries and to provide them with the means to achieve self-sufficent development. Devoted exclusively to the Third World, the Intermón shops, found throughout Spain, are staffed by volunteers and buy from more than 800 producers from the southern hemisphere. There are textiles, foodstuffs, crafts from three continents, and aside from all that you'll find information to inform people about Fair Business and to suggest ways to undertake steps to contribute to the implementation of Fair Business North-South (so that there may be no forced labour of children, that women and men may receive equal wages, that all people may earn a decent salary, among other goals).
