Some long-distance and regional trains use Estació Passeig de Gràcia. Direct trains to Montpellier with connections to Paris and Geneva depart from here. For information on international destinations call +34 93 490 1122. Located north of the city, 16 kilometres from the airport, the station is within walking distance of two of Gaudí's major buildings: Casa Batló and Casa Millà. Avinguda Diagonal, one of the main shopping arteries in Barcelona, is also nearby. For quick transportation into the centre you can use the tube – Passeig de Gràcia tube stop is inside the station – or a bus. There is no taxi rank, but taxis can be booked with Radio Taxi Miramar. You can make use of a left-luggage office, ATMs, a cafeteria, a bookshop and a newsagent. Four-star Hotel Majestic provides fine and convenient accommodation near the station.
