Association with educational activities

This association organizes quality shows for Casa Elizalde in various towns and districts of Barcelona, Tarragona, Lérida, Hospitalet and other areas. Though it started as an independent initiative it has always worked in cooperation with the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan autonomous government) while organizing various shows. It works as a non-profit organization, with the sole purpose of promoting Catalan culture and language. One of the events organized by it is the "la Tamborinada". This event is usually held on a Sunday in mid-May, in the Parc de la Ciutadella. The association also organizes various open-air shows and games.
