Tapas have made their home in Barcelona, having been brought from the Bay of Biscay to this city. Basque cuisine seems to have spread everywhere in the Iberian Peninsula, conquering palates all over the place. No eatery represents this complete surrender to perfect taste as Sagardi. This eatery serves fish, seafood and vegetable Pintxos (titbits), as well as meat, omelettes and all sorts of cheese. There is nothing better than a glass of Txakoli (Basque white wine) available here, to wash these delights down with.
