A quiet side-street lined with Victorian houses in the proletarian district of Wedding is home to the tiny Anti-War Museum. A broad collection of rusty steel helmets, modern land mines, old photos and an original air raid shelter bare witness to the major catastrophies of the twentieth century. Yet the museum, established in the 1920's, also has another fascinating story to tell—its own. Several adjacent rooms are used for temporary exhibitions which deal with topics relevant to the museum.
