Curiosity shop |
Bergmannstraße 99 Berlin, Berlin 10961 +49 (0)30 693 5080 |
Named after Turkey's highest mountain, Ararat is a Turkish-run curiosity shop full of those little items which nobody needs but everybody wants: rubber ducks which quack when you squeeze them, heart-shaped Christmas tree lights and picture frames made of plastic roses. The Ampelmännchen is well represented and visible on items as varied as t-shirts, lamps, cups and key rings. The back room is dedicated to stationery, with writing paper, notepads and cardboard boxes in all shapes and sizes. Review © 2009, Wcities |
