A wonderous place. The sign over the door advertises religious and second hand articles, and entering the shop, you'll find precisely that. As well as huge church candles and postcards of the pope, there are hundreds of Madonnas, rosaries, crucifixes, religious paintings and memorabilia from holy places all over the world. There is also an extensive choice of books including bibles, novels and books on religious instruction. Bearing in mind that religious kitsch is currently "in", it's hard to know whether you should take this place seriously or not. Behind the fonts and models of St.Peter's Cathedral, there is a flight of stairs which leads up to the second hand department. The confusion is complete. Review © 2009, Wcities |
