This classic cocktail bar, located on the Landwehrkanal near Tiergarten, was recently voted one of the best bars in the world by a popular magazine. The bar runs down the entire length of the long, thin room, which is furnished in a tasteful mix of wood and chrome. Andy Warhol's Mao presides over proceedings from the back of the bar. As you would expect of a cocktail bar of this calibre, the crowd is mostly clad in suits or cocktail dresses. The drinks menu is the size of a small book and offers every imaginable type of cocktail.
