Located in Kochstraße close to Checkpoint Charlie, Bücherbogen's Kreuzberg branch offers a wide selection of books on contemporary architecture and urban planning. It's probably no coincidence that the shop is situated close to three fine examples of Berlin's recent building boom: Liebeskind's Jewish Museum, Hutton's GSW Hochhaus tower block, and Aldo Rossi's Schützenstraße Quarter. The selection of literature ranges from landscape gardening and ecological architecture to building regulations and the future of urban society.
