Due to its proximity to the International Conference Centre, there are a lot of hotels at the upper end of Kantstraße. One of these is the Kanthotel, part of the Best Western Hotel chain. This is a new building with comfortable, modern rooms and sound-proof windows which cut out noise from the busy street below. The centre of western Berlin is just a couple of bus stops away. Around the corner is Wilmersdorfer Straße, a pedestrian precinct which is still good for shopping, although it has seen better days. Review © 2009, Wcities |
