Great, you think when you enter the shop, at long last a decent shoe shop selling footwear made in Berlin! But fans of home-grown produce will be sorely disappointed; the trendy designer shoes are all made in bella Italia. Located in Neue Schoenhauser Strasse - Berlin's new centre of haute couture - Blutorange is run by Riccardo Cartillione, who also manages two other shops on Savignyplatz and Oranienburger Strasse. The prices start at around EUR 100 a pair, and include creations by London Fly, Barracuda, Grey Mer, Luna Blu and Steve Morris. Review © 2009, Wcities
