Asmarino serves up fine Abyssinian (Ethiopian) specialities, although to be more precise, most dishes come from the province of Eritrea which has been independent since 1991. Besides wars and famine, most people know nothing about the country or its food, which is a shame, as the cuisine is interesting to say the least. Dishes with exotic-sounding names (such as 'ingera', a special kind of bread) and plenty of spices will provide your taste buds with an undreamt-of experience.
