A sax is hanging in front of a large mirror and on a shelf behind the counter there is a painting by Edward Hopper. You won't find much more decoration in Café Solo, which, in between the many extravagant American diners, along Pariser Straße, seems somewhat out of place. If you pass by too quickly, you would never imagine that the inconspicuous bar had once been a popular student meeting place. Café Solo is a perfect place to read the newspaper or to write a letter.
