Le Canard doesn't have much in common with the nouveau riche boutiques and interior design stores which are springing up all around Savignyplatz. Large metal chandeliers hang from the ceiling, the plain white walls are decorated with reproductions of paintings by French masters and the wine is kept in a rustic old cabinet behind the bar. The menu includes traditional staples of the Frenchman's diet as well as more modern concoctions. Connoisseurs of modern-day France will be pleased to see Couscous with Lamb on the menu. A variety of wines are available from EUR17-EUR332 per bottle.
