The roots of lesbianism go back to a Greek lady called Sappho who in about 600 BC composed a series of poems about female love on the Greek island of Lesbos, the birthplace of lesbianism. Some 2,600 years later, lesbianism is much more acceptable in Berlin than it is on the Greek islands, and this bookshop just serves to prove the point. Review © 2009, Wcities |
