Descending the staircase into this second hand shop is pretty wierd, but the further in you get, the wierder things become. Passing shelves lined with multi-coloured wigs, cupboards full of original thirties clothes and rooms dedicated to plastic furniture, telephones and sixties bubble lamps, this place typifies that sort of craziness which you'll only ever find in Berlin. Named after a 1966 film by Russ Meyer, Faster Pussycat has a second branch called Tenderloin in eastern Berlin. Review © 2009, Wcities |
