Just a single palm tree reminds you of the building's past. Haus am Kleistpark used to house the museum attached to the nearby botanical gardens at Kleistpark, but is now home to Schöneberg's School of Music and Art. A hall on the second floor is used for temporary exhibitions which are open to the public. It is an experience just to climb up the cast iron stairway to the top floor, where the building's turn-of-the-century splendour is revealed.
