Situated on the banks of Waldsee lake in Zehlendorf, Haus am Waldsee is a villa in the style of an English country house. As well as organising exhibitions of well-known 20th century and contemporary artists, the gallery concentrates on themes and contemporary issues, with a particular emphasis being placed on Eastern European art. There is also a reference library, a café with internet access and an open-air stage used for theatre and film presentations.
