The first newly-constructed church to be built after World War II, the Hephatha Kirche stands as a monument to the German reconstruction efforts. Now it is part of a strong and active community and offers a wide range of church-sponsored activities and events. There are multiple choirs which perform on a regular basis, several dance and fitness groups, and many workshops for parents and children.
