This large four-star hotel is situated in the heart of the Western city, close to the recently rebuilt embassy quarter. Unfortunately, the district around Lützowplatz - once a distinguished and lively neighbourhood - was almost completely destroyed during the Second World War. A rather triste mixture of post-war architecture now dominates the skyline, with Hotel Berlin being no exception. However, outward appearances can often be misleading, as the interior of this hotel proves. With comfortable and luxurious suites, a spacious sunlit lounge and a highly-renowned gourmet restaurant - Hotel Berlin offers all you would expect of a high-quality establishment.
