The Hotel Inter-Continental, one of the best hotels in town, also contains one of Berlin's best restaurants. Recently taken over by star chef Thomas Kammeier, Zum Hugenotten was awarded 16 points by Gault Millau—an unmistakable sign of the utmost quality. A select circle of people like Bill Clinton, Shirley MacLaine or German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder come here to enjoy the finest contemporary German cuisine. Try the fish stew with olive bread and saffron mayonnaise as a starter, with Fried Pigeon Pate on mashed carrots as the main entree. The wine list contains an assortment of about 350 different labels.
