A-Trane attracts jazz celebrities from all over the world with its fine reputation, while audiences are attracted by the low admission prices (at least between Sunday and Tuesday, with free entrance to 'Piano Jazz Forte') and a selection of bands covering the whole spectrum from bebop to acid jazz. The stage is barely a foot away from the front row, and if you manage to secure a table by the stage, you may well notice the trumpet player's sweat dripping into your beer glass. Well, that's jazz!
