This cinema is famous for one thing - during the 70s and 80s, H.C.Potter's comedy classic Hellzapoppin ran here every Saturday for 17 years. Now, after nine lean years, Hellzapoppin is back! After a long search, the owner managed to locate Germany's only surviving copy of the film and organises regular showings of this and other cult movies. Alternatively, come here at midnight on Saturday for the late-night horror show, when the cinema is lit only by candlelight. Review © 2009, Wcities |
